Legends Classic Match Ups Announced

BOULDER – A match up of Colorado and Notre Dame on the hardwood for the first time is set for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., as the Legends Classic and ESPN officially announced the tournament's schedule on Wednesday.
Colorado will host Seattle U. on Monday, Nov. 14, and Louisiana-Monroe on Thursday, Nov. 17, in regional rounds of the Legends Classic at the Coors Events Center before heading to New York.
The Buffaloes will then take on the Fighting Irish on Monday, Nov. 21, at 5 p.m. MT on ESPN2. Notre Dame was 24-12 last season and is coming off its second straight trip to the NCAA Elite Eight. Texas and Northwestern will battle in the second game at 7:30 p.m. Texas is coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance while Northwestern looks to build on a 20-12 record in 2015-16.
On Tuesday, Nov. 22, the championship game is set for 4 p.m. on ESPN2. Time and television for the third place game in Brooklyn on Nov. 22, and the two games in Boulder will be announced at a later date.
With the announcement of the Legends Classic, Colorado's nonconference schedule is complete. As announced earlier this summer, Colorado will play 13 games before the Pac-12 Conference season begins, including potential matchups with eight teams that advanced to postseason action in 2015-16 and six that won at least 20 games.
Colorado is currently taking deposits for 2016-17 season tickets at CUBuffs.com/tickets. Individual packages and tickets for the New York games through the Colorado Athletic Ticket Office will be available later this fall. Tickets for the games at the Barclays Center can also be purchased through Ticketmaster or at the arena's box office.
