Buffs Close Regular Season Against Oregon On Senior Day

BOULDER — The No. 15 Colorado Buffaloes will host Oregon on Friday, April 20, at 3 p.m. in the final regular season game of the season at Kittredge Field. With one game left, the Buffs have already won a share of the Pac-12 regular season Championship. 
 
HOW TO WATCH: The game will be streamed live on Facebook. A link to the stream, as well as live stats, will be available at CUBuffs.com.
 
PROMOTIONS: The first 200 fans will receive a free t-shirt. The CU seniors will also be celebrated after the game.
 
ABOUT THE BUFFS: Colorado is ranked 15th in the IWLCA poll and is 13th in the media poll and 11th in the USL poll. CU is 11-4 this season and is on top of the Pac-12 standings with an 8-1 record. With the Buffs' two wins last weekend, they have guaranteed themselves at least a share of the Pac-12 regular season Championship.
 
Darby Kiernan leads the team with 72 points this season, which is second in the Pac-12, ninth in the NCAA. She has earned 51 goals and 21 assists. The 51 goals is first in the Pac-12.   She is also fourth in the NCAA, first in the Pac-12, with 8.00 draw controls per game. Miranda Stinson is a close second for the Buffs with 58 points (fourth in the Pac-12). Stinson has 46 goals this season (third in the Pac-12) and has 12 assists.
 
Sarah Brown leads CU with 1.67 caused turnovers per game and Kelsie Garrison is second with 1.60 per game, which is second and third, respectively, in the Pac-12.  Brown also leads CU in ground balls with 2.80 per game and Garrison is second with 2.53 per game.  Julia Lisella has recorded a 10-2 record in goal this season. She has allowed 8.20 goals per game, which is first in the Pac-12 and fourth in the NCAA.  Lisella also leads the conference with a .540 save percentage, which is fifth in the NCAA. 
 
ABOUT OREGON: Oregon has an 8-7 overall record and is 4-5 in the Pac-12, which puts UO fourth in the league standings.
 
Shannon Williams leads the Ducks with 63 points this season. She has recorded 35 goals and 28 assists. Second on the team is Jill Zubillaga, who has recorded 53 points, 49 of which are goals. Cambi Cukar has 39 assists, which ranks fourth in the NCAA. Lexy Biller is 12th in the NCAA this season with 6.40 draw controls per game.
 
Mandi Trostle leads UO with 15 caused turnovers this year, while Natalie Modley is second with 14.  Brittany Read has started in all 15 games for the Ducks and owns an 8-7 record. She is second in the Pac-12 in saves per game (9.27) and is fourth in saves percentage (0.465) and goals against average (11.35).  Read is also second in the Pac-12 with 3.27 ground balls per game.
 
THE SERIES: The Buffs have won every meeting (5-0) against the Ducks, including a 14-9 victory earlier this season.
 
UP NEXT: Colorado will host the Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament, April 26-29, at Prentup Field.
 
THE KITT FIELD ADVANTAGE: The Buffs have done quite well at Kittredge Field since 2014, compiling a 30-5 record.  CU is currently in the middle of a 16-0 run at Kitt.  The Buffs won the last three home games in 2016 and did not drop a contest at Kitt in 2017 (7-0).  They are 6-0 at home this season. 
 
PAC-12 TOURNAMENT TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for the Inaugural Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament, April 26-29, in Boulder, are now on sale.  Colorado will serve as the host for the first ever tournament.  The quarterfinal games will be played on Thursday, April 26, while the semifinals will be contested on Friday, April 27.  The championship game is set for Sunday, April 29.  All five games will be played at Prentup Field, the home of Colorado's soccer program. 
 
Fans can purchase an all-sessions pass that includes all five games, or a single-session pass for one day.  Tickets can be purchased online at CUBuffs.com or by calling 303-49-BUFFS.  Pricing for both options is listed below:

PRENTUP FIELD GAME DAY POLICIES: For all games played at Prentup Field, there is a strict no pet policy, so please plan accordingly. There is also a strictly enforced clear bag policy. For more information, go the CUBuffs.com/BeClear or ready the bottom of the release.
 
CLEAR BAG POLICY
In an effort to provide a safer environment for fans, the University of Colorado will continue its clear bag policy at the Prentup Field for all lacrosse and soccer games, which includes the Pac-12 Women's Lacrosse Tournament. 
                 
Fans may bring one clear bag no larger than 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches, or a one-gallon reseal-able clear plastic storage bag, into the arena.  Fans will also be allowed one small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.  
                 
Bags that are not allowed into the CEC include backpacks, large purses, oversized tote bags, camera bags and binocular cases, diaper bags, fanny packs and printed plastic bags.
