Pac-12 Announces 2019-20 Weekly Pairings

CU's conference opponents set

SAN FRANCISCO – Weekly pairings and sites for the 2019-20 Pac-12 women's basketball campaign were released, the Conference office announced on Wednesday. League play gets underway the week of December 23, 2019, and culminates with the 2020 Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas, March 5-8 at Mandalay Bay Events Center.

The schedule reflects the 18-game slate which determines the seeding at the Pac-12 Tournament. In addition to opponents being identified, home/away weeks have been designated. Specific dates and times for each game within the week have yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date after television selections have been finalized.

Colorado will open the regular season with three games away from the CU Event Center. CU's starts the season at Utah and will follow with visits to Oregon and Oregon State.

The Buffs first home conference opponents will be Southern California and UCLA, Jan. 9-12. The team will remain at home the following week, taking on Utah for the second time in six games.

Week four has the Buffs back on the road. Colorado will make the weekend-trip west to Stanford and California. The Bears and the Cardinal return to Boulder three weeks later.

Oregon State and Oregon make the return visit to Boulder the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 2.

CU's one-off opponents this season are the Washington and Arizona schools. CU will visit the Palouse to take on the Cougars before moving onto the Huskies (Feb. 6-9). The Sun Devils and Wildcats will close out CU's home schedule (Feb. 20-23).

Colorado's regular season comes to a close in Los Angeles, Feb. 27-Mar. 1. The Buffs will end Pac-12 play against Southern California and UCLA for the second consecutive season.
