2017-18 (Senior): Saw action in five games for a total of six minutes. He recorded his first collegiate start in the win over South Dakota State, logging an assist and his lone career offensive rebound. Repine became a valuable teammate and leader for Colorado's young squad which featured eight freshmen. During the preseason he coined the phrase "we can be elite in our effort and elite in our concentration" a mantra the Buffaloes carried throughout the year. Following the season, Repine recieved the team's Most Inspirational Award and also the Ceal Barry Leadership Award at the department's annual CUSPY Awards.
2016-17 (Junior): Saw action in seven games for a total of nine minutes, both season highs during his three-year career. He did not score, but had four field goal attempts, also his most in one season. Played in two of the first three games and made his Pac-12 Conference season debut in the home win over Washington State (2/12). Played in both games against Stanford (3/2) and California (3/4) during Colorado's final homestand. Received the Sports Performance Award for strength and conditioning accomplishments at the school's annual CUSPY Awards.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Saw action in six games including back-to-back contests against Northern Colorado (11/29) and Fort Lewis (12/2). He scored his first collegiate points with a 3-pointer in the final minutes against Northern Colorado. Registered first collegiate assist and grabbed a rebound in the home opener against Portland (11/20).
2014-15 (Freshman): Played in four games (Drexel, Auburn, USC, and Washington State).
High School: Attended New Hampton Prep (N.H.) for one year before enrolling at Colorado. He was a member of the New England Prep School (NEPSAC) AAA Athletic Conference runner-up basketball championship team that finished the season 22-8. A 2013 graduate of Kent Denver High School. He was a four-sport athlete (basketball, baseball, golf, soccer). Helped Kent Denver to back-to-back Class 3A runner-up finishes and four state champion golf teams. As a senior, was a member of runner-up soccer championship team and member of final eight state baseball team. He was an all-state basketball first team and all-state tournament team selection. Co-Captain and leading scorer averaging 15 points per game; also led in 3-point shooting at 45 percent and led team to 25-2 record. AP Scholar Award and NHS High Honor Roll (Post-Grad). As a junior, he was a basketball Co-Captain (14-10 record). Co-Captain and leading scorer as a sophomore helping Kent to a 22-2 record. Had a .417 baseball batting average; and in golf, had a 1.3 USGA Handicap.
Academics: Graduated from Colorado in May 2018 with his degree in Business with emphases in Finance and Accounting. He was named to the 2017-18 National Basketball Coaches Association (NABC) Honors Court.
Personal: Born Joshua Edward Repine on Feb. 17, 1995 in Englewood, Colo.. Son of John and Karen Repine. Both parents are doctors (Father, physician-scientist-teacher; Mother, physician-ophthalmologist). Youngest of three siblings (Jonathan and Kelsey are both University of Notre Dame graduates). Interests include golf, chess, weightlifting and snow-boarding. Recipient of the Touching Hearts Through Athletics Sportsmanship Award Kent Denver senior year and worked as an assistant teacher at Kent Denver Breakthrough program for urban diversity students junior and senior years. Joins fellow New Hampton Prep teammate Tory Miller on the CU roster. Graduated from New Hampton Prep (May 2014) and from Kent Denver (May 2013). Selected CU because of the outstanding basketball coaches and the team, excellent school spirit and opportunity to study in the Leeds School of Business. Also appealing about CU was the attraction by the enthusiastic sellout basketball crowds. Lists biggest moment of prep career scoring last minute reverse lay-up to send Kent Denver to the 3A state basketball championship game as a junior in 2012. Spent a summer working with a Biomedical Laboratory Research Investigation. Wore jersey number 23 at Kent Denver and No. 4 at New Hampton Prep.
