Kornieck Named Preseason All-America

CULVER CITY, Calif. - Colorado soccer player Taylor Kornieck was named third-team Preseason All-America by Top Drawer Soccer on Tuesday. Kornieck was also named Preseason All-America last season by TDS.
A junior midfielder from Henderson, Nev., Kornieck, has been named All-Pac-12 twice already in her career and has started all 44 games in her two seasons in Boulder, totaling 18 goals and eight assists. Last season, she had seven goals and four assists.
Last week, she was selected to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List for the top individual award in college soccer.
CU opens the season at Air Force on Thursday at 6 p.m. and hosts Colorado State at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at Prentup Field.
