Busy Weekend At Home With Football, Soccer And Volleyball

BOULDER – CU plays New Hampshire in football on Saturday at 3 p.m. and it will be a full weekend of events surrounding the game.
Saturday's game offers a Family 4-Pack deal, which includes four hot dogs or nachos, four sodas and four tickets for $125. This deal ends Friday night at midnight.
2018 Folsom Field Information

Beginning this season, metal detectors will be used at all entrances to CU athletics events. Additionally, the clear bag policy will be in effect once again this season. Here is a complete breakdown of all Folsom Field game day policies.
Folsom Field Concessions
The Folsom Field Rooftop will feature a different theme each week, and for this Saturday, it is a luau. Food and drinks will have a Hawaiian theme, highlighted by a pulled-pork sandwich with pineapple salsa and kettle chips and a Ralphie on the Beach cocktail.
Throughout the stadium, new food options this season will include an M Cluckers chicken stand, Burrito Bowl, Moes Original Bar-B-Que, Scrumptious Ice Cream, Old Chicago pizza, and City Pop popcorn.
During the first hour gates are open, the Coors Light ColdZone on the Buff Walk will have $1 off adult beverages.
Beginning this season, beer and wine will now be available throughout the stadium.
The Buffs Experience, powered by Chevron Stemzone
In partnership with Chevron, the CU Athletic Department is proud to present The Buffs Experience, powered by Chevron Stemzone. The Buffs Experience is an interactive, sports-centered combine for young Buffs. The Buffs Experience will feature combine drills, exhibits and nutritional information that allow students to better understand the dynamics of science and its impact on sports. Please join us two hours before every home game for the Buffs Experience behind Benson Earth Sciences Building.

The Buffs (6-0-1 record currently) soccer team hosts Utah Valley at 3:30 p.m. It is $1 hot dog day at Prentup Field. Kids 12-and-under will receive free admission.
Friday
Pearl Street Stampede Pep Rally
The weekly Pearl Street Stampede will take place like normal at 7 p.m. on Friday night on Pearl Street. It will be in conjunction with Fall Fest on Pearl Street and it will be a fun evening for all fans that come out.
CU Volleyball In Action
The Buffs volleyball team (5-3 record currently) hosts Portland State at 7 p.m. at the CU Events Center. It is social media night with games planned around the match, including scavenger hunts in the arena during the game. With the promo code SOCIAL at www.CUBuffs.com/promo, fans can get two tickets for the price of one.

The Buffs volleyball team hosts Indiana State at 10 a.m. at the CU Events Center, and in-state rival Colorado State at 8 p.m. in the 2018 Colorado Classic tournament. Fans are encouraged to wear black and kids 12-and-under will get in free.
Fans attending the volleyball matches are being asked to enter the campus from Regent Drive off of Broadway to avoid significant delays from football traffic. Parking will be available in Lot 440 and the Regent/Event Center Parking Garage.
CU Football In Action vs. New Hampshire
Chip's Kids Club
The New Hampshire game is the first kids club ticket deal game for our VIB (Very Important Buffs). Opening at noon, Chip's Kids Club will be held at Benson and will have inflatables to play in, an area to make a sign, and more.
Food Drive
Fans are encouraged to donate to the food drive prior to the game. September is Hunger Action Month and all food will benefit Community Food Share to help fight hunger in the Boulder and Broomfield communities. Any factory-sealed canned good is welcome. Donation bins will be located at the northeast, northwest, southwest and southeast entrances to Folsom Field. For more information, call 303-492-1976.
Extra Yards For Teachers
CU has partnered with the Pac-12 Conference and the College Football Playoff Foundation to give $10,000 to 4th and 5th grade teachers at Emerald Elementary in Broomfield who work with students on STEM-based programming.
CU's coaching staff will wear a teacher's patch on their game-day attire.
K-MAC Strength
CU will recognize six pediatric cancer patients on the field before the game. The K-MAC Foundation strives to honor former CU track and field student-athlete Kyle MacIntosh, who lost his life after battling cancer for 13 months. The foundation supports children battling cancer through events, scholarships and resources.
Additionally, CU will wear ovarian cancer ribbon stickers on its helmets during Saturday's game. More info on that is below under the Hike For Her event on Sunday.
Inclusive Sports Weekend
CU is striving to end racism, discrimination and harassment. Booths will be set up at CU's soccer game on Thursday (3:30 p.m. vs. Utah Valley), volleyball match on Friday (7 p.m. vs. Portland State) and the football game on Saturday for fans to stop by and make a pledge to be inclusive. Ceal Barry Hall of Fame Recognition
Former CU women's basketball coach and current senior associate athletic director Ceal Barry was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame earlier this summer. She was CU's head coach for 22 seasons and compiled a 427-242 record with 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, six Sweet Sixteens and three Elite Eights. She was named Big Eight Conference Coach of the Year four times and National Coach of the Year in 1994.

Hike For Her
This will be the third-annual Hike For Her to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. The hike begins at 9 a.m. at the NCAR Table Mesa Trail in Boulder and is free to the public. For more information, visit www.CUBuffs.com/HikeForHer.
During the game on Saturday, the team will wear helmet stickers for ovarian cancer and the honorary Ralphie Handler cuers will be Kristine and John, as Kristine is a survivor and met her husband John on her journey with the disease.
