Stinson Picks Up Third Pac-12 Player of the Week Award

BOULDER — For the third time this season and the fourth time in her career, University of Colorado senior Miranda Stinson has been named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Stinson helped the CU lacrosse team to a 15-6 victory against Oregon on March 23. She recorded six points with a team-best five goals and one assist against in the Ducks. In addition, she also led the Buffs with eight draw controls and five ground balls. Stinson took 12 shots in the game and nine were on goal (75.0%).
 
Stanford's Trudie Grattan won the defensive player of the week honor. She and Stinson are the only three-time winners this season.
 
Colorado, which is ranked 25th in the latest IWLCA poll, will host No. 15 Denver on Tuesday, March 26. The game is set to start at 4 p.m. and the Buffs will sign autographs following the contest.
