Numerous Buffs Awarded CU Athletes Of The Week, Presented By Arrow

BOULDER- Dani Hansen, Dominique Williams, Charlie Rudy and Victor Bjorlow are the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow.

Hansen was flawless this weekend for the Buffs in a pair of wins against the Arizona schools. The Broomfield, Colo., native didn't let a shot go by, recording 16 saves in 200 minutes of play. Hansen was named the Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week for the third time this season for her performances. The goalie now ranks seventh in the NCAA and leads the conference with seven shutouts this season.

Williams had a massive hammer throw at the Colorado Invitational on Saturday with a distance of 61.39 meters (201-5). The mark landed him second in the event on his way to becoming just the third male Buff to clear the 200-foot mark in the event.

Rudy continued her goal-scoring frenzy this season in a pair of wins in California last week. Rudy started the week off with a four goal, one assist performance against UC Davis in a 16-13 victory. Against California in a 12-10 victory for the Buffs, Rudy added four more goals. Rudy was named co-Pac-12 Lacrosse Player of the Week with her teammate Eliza Cahill.

Bjorlow had his best 54-hole outing in his CU career last week at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. Bjorlow shot an 11-under 205 at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Ariz. The score put him tied for fifth in the tournament and led the Buffs to a third place finish overall.
