O'Loughlin, Green And Herrera Win CU Athletes Of The Week, Presented By Arrow

BOULDER- Daniel O'Loughlin, Jada Green and Eduardo Herrera are the CU Athletes of the Week, presented by Arrow.

O'Loughlin led the Buffs at the Pac-12 Championships last week with a six-under 282 four-round total, good for a share of 13th place. O'Loughlin finished the tournament with three eagles, 11 birdies and 47 pars.Β

Green finished second in the javelin with a mark of 50.39 meters (165-4) at the West Coast Relays over the weekend. The throwΒ puts Green third overall in CU history and second since the implement change in 1983. The freshman crushed her previous season best by 26-feet, 7-inches.Β

Herrera continued his remarkable track season when he broke the Colorado school record in the 1,500-meter run at the West Coast Relays with a time of 3:38.09. Herrera finished sixth in the event.
