Omni Hotels To Sponsor CU Tournaments

BOULDER -- University of Colorado and Omni Hotels Wednesday announced a sponsorship deal was finalized for three premier mid-season tournaments the Buffaloes host in volleyball, women's soccer and women's basketball. The nationwide hotel chain with a four-diamond resort in Broomfield will be the title sponsor for the events.

The Omni Hotels Colorado Volleyball Classic will take place September 10-11 with teams still to be announced while the Omni Hotels Colorado Women's Soccer Classic will take place September 17 and 19 as both CU and Denver will face soccer powers Purdue and UCLA at Prentup Field.
Omni Hotels first sponsored a CU tournament last year with the annual women's basketball tournament. Now in its second year, the Omni Hotels Women's Basketball Classic will take place November 27-28. The women's basketball schedule has not been released as of yet.
