2005-06 NOTES

One of 10 seniors and one of four players that saw significant time as a junior-transfer last season ... Averaged 8.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 26 games played with 14 starts ... Started the last 12 games of the season averaging 11.1 points and 5.2 rebounds ... Made 29 3-pointers during that span; 45 treys ranked third overall in 2004-05 ... Three-point threat from anywhere on the floor, also crashes the boards and finishes around the basket.

2004-05

Named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer team, a CU first since the 2001-02 season ... Finished the Big 12 (all games) in 3-point field goals made (1.73) and eighth in conference games only in treys made (2.00) ... Also capped conference only games with third placing in 3-point field goal percentage (.423) ... Played his first season with Buffs after sitting out a year upon his transfer from Loyola Marymount ... Finished the season with 26 games with 14 starts, including the last 12 games of the season ... Made five 3-pointers in a game twice (Oklahoma State, Jan. 30, South Dakota State, Feb. 14) ... His five treys against the Cowboys was a team-high and helped CU establish 17 for the game, a school record ...  First career double-double at CU was 14 points, 10 rebounds in home win over Texas (Feb. 8) ... Netted 11 games over 10 or points, nine times against the Big 12 Conference ... Finished the last 10 games of the season scoring double-digits in eight of those ... Was third in 3-pointers made (45) and fourth in 3-pointer attempts (110) ... Was fifth in team rebounding (121) and one of five players who scored over 200 points ... Scored CU’s last four points, including game-winning 3-pointer with 13 seconds remaining to beat Iowa State (Jan. 22) in overtime. It was the first CU victory in Ames since 1991 ... Came off the bench to score 19 points with a season-best seven field goals, including five 3-pointers against Oklahoma State (Jan. 30) ... Career-best eight rebounds (all defensive) at Iowa State ... Six games with over 14 points  (Kansas State, Texas A&M, South Dakota State, Texas, Oklahoma State, Gardner-Webb) ... Missed four games with a ligament tear in his left foot.

 

LOYOLA MARYMOUNT

Lettered two seasons ... Averaged 10 points and 4.5 rebounds a game ... Started 44 of 60 games ... Scored 601 points and grabbed 270 rebounds in two years becoming just the 11th player in school history to score over 500 points by the end of his sophomore campaign ... His 601 points ranks sixth among the 11 players at LMU ... Tallied four double-doubles and a pair of West Coast Conference Player of the Week honors ...

Three of those double-doubles were his first three games of college career ... First week of collegiate career was named conference player of the week and in his second collegiate game, became the third freshman at LMU with a double-double, scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds in 30 minutes against Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 14, 2001) ... Led the Lions in scoring eight times, including two games on the boards .... Career bests: 23 points at Cal State Northridge (Dec. 19, 2002); 12 rebounds vs. Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 14, 2001) ... Dished out four assists, three times.

 

HIGH SCHOOL

Graduated in June 2001 ... Three-year letterwinner in basketball ... Was the State of Colorado Player of the Year runner-up in his final season ... Finished his senior season averaging 24 points (second in the state) and led the state with 551 points ... Also averaged 10 rebounds (third in the state), four blocks, shot 64 percent from the field, 45 percent from the three-point line and 80 percent from the free throw line ... Was a two-time all-state selection (first team as a senior, honorable mention as a junior), all-league Player of the Year (Northern Conference), two-time all-area and all-county selection ... Led Longmont to the Colorado 5A quarterfinals and a 22-1 final record ... Member of a two Northern Conference championship teams (2000, 2001) ... Averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks during his junior year ... Final game of high school scored 39 points and added nine rebounds and four blocks at the Pepsi Center ... In 5A All-Star game (Colorado’s top division), led all scorers with 24 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks.
