2020-21 (Freshman): Appeared in four games, playing a total of five minutes. Scored his first collegiate points with a pair of free throws in the home win over California (1/14). Made his CU debut in the final minute of the season-opener against South Dakota (11/25), grabbing the first of two rebounds on the season. Joined the Buffaloes as a walk-on prior to the 2020-21 season. Following the season he transferred to Colorado Mesa.
High School: A 2020 graduate of Resurrection Christian School. Averaged 18.0 points to lead the Cougars to a perfect 25-0 record as a senior. Resurrection Christian advanced to the Class 4A state semifinals, before the tournament was shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. Selected to the Class 4A All-State Second Team as a senior and was a two-time all-conference pick. Played five years with the Colorado Titans club program.
Academics: Majored in Journalism at Colorado.
Personal: Born March 14, 2002, in Pasadena, Calif. He is the son of Wesley and Cynthia Jessup. Has two brothers, Luke and Justinian and one sister, Judith. Justinian is beginning a professional basketball career in Australia after four successful years at Boise State. Would like to play professional basketball or be a film director after college. Favorite teams are the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder. Chose to walk on at Colorado because “it’s going to give me the opportunity to become the best player I can be after one year in college, I love the campus, and it’s a familiar place to me.”
