AT COLORADO: 2008 (Sr.)?He saw action in nine games, including one start (Nebraska), making two receptions on the year, one in the season opener against Colorado State and the other in the finale at Nebraska.  He caught two passes for 28 yards, including a 24-yard grab for a touchdown, in the three main spring scrimmages.

2007 (Jr.)?He saw action in three games (Miami, Missouri, Iowa State), but did not register any statistics; he did have a couple of specific plays drawn up for him but they never materialized in games.  The coaches named him the Scout Team Offense Player of the Week for the Oklahoma game.  He joined the team as an invited walk-on in time for fall camp.

JUNIOR COLLEGE (2005, 2006; Fr.-RS/Soph.)?He earned second-team All-Mission Conference honors as a sophomore, when he was Saddleback’s leading receiver with 40 catches for 701 yards and five touchdowns.  He did not play in any games as a redshirt freshman after transferring from UCLA.  Under coach Mark McElroy, Saddleback went 11-1, reaching the semifinals of the regional playoffs, and won the Mission Conference his sophomore year; the Gauchos were 7-4 his freshman season, winning the U.S. Bank Beach Bowl in Santa Monica over Mt. San Jacinto College.

AT UCLA (2004/Fr.)?He joined the team as a walk-on for the season, practicing at wide receiver, but did not see any game action and thus was redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL?He earned first-team All-Region (by the Los Angeles Times), All-Orange County and All-South Coast League as a senior, when he caught 89 passes for 1,375 yards and 10 touchdowns in averaging 15.4 yards per reception.  He set school records for single-season receptions and single-season and single-game receiving yards, as he set the latter with 205 against Corona Centennial.  As a junior, in his first year playing prep football, he earned a starting job and had 35 catches for 460 yards and two scores.  Under coach Eric Patton, San Clemente was 8-4 his senior year and 9-3 his junior campaign.  He also lettered twice in basketball (shooting guard).

ACADEMICS?He is majoring in Political Science at Colorado and is on schedule to graduate in May 2009.

PERSONAL?Born April 28, 1986 in Newport Beach, Calif.  His hobbies include playing basketball and going to the beach.  An older sister, Shawna, played softball at Chapman (Calif.) University.
