2022-23 (Freshman): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Colorado basketball program.

High School: A 2022 graduate of Holyoke High School. A three-time all-state and all-conference selection for the Dragons. Averaged 18.6 points and 3.6 assists as a senior along with 61 3-point field goals. Holds the school record for most 3-pointers in a game with six and is a member of the program’s 1,000-point club. Lettered four times in basketball and track, three times in golf and once in football. Played club basketball with the Rocky Mountain Select in Fort Collins, Colo., in 2021.

Academics: Majoring in Cinema Studies at Colorado and is also interested in Real Estate or Finance. Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born July 26, 2003, in North Platte, Neb., he is the son of Jessica and Tim Johnson. Has a younger brother, Chase. Has been a volunteer referee on multiple occasions, helped run a charity dodgeball event and has helped with a local Veterans Day breakfast. Favorite team is the Denver Nuggets and favorite athlete is Trae Young. Enjoys playing chess. Would like to pursue a career in film or in coaching. Chose Colorado because “It always has been my goal to play at the highest level and when the opportunity came, I didn’t have to think twice about it.”
