High School?He lettered three times in golf at Fairview under coach Murl Hendrickson (a former Buff), garnering first-team All-League honors all three years (All-Front Range as a senior, All-Centennial League as a sophomore and junior). He was a first-team All-State performer as a junior (honorable mention as a senior), and a two-time All-Region pick his junior and senior years (second team as a sophomore); he was the region’s player of the year as a senior. His stroke average steadily improved from his freshman year (82.0) through his senior season (72.0); he owned a 77.9 mark as a sophomore and 74.2 mark as a junior. He helped Fairview to the 2007 Colorado 5A title, as he finished third individually with a 70-76?146 (+4) at Fort Collins’ Collindale Golf Course. He was 15th in the state meet as a senior, with a 72-82?154 (+10) scorecard at the Air Force Academy’s Eisenhower Blue Golf Course; FHS placed third as a team. FHS did not place his sophomore year, but he tied for 62nd overall. He also lettered once in basketball, with FHS reaching the state’s 5A Final Four his senior year.
Other?2009: He finished 63rd in the Western Junior Amateur (75-77-73-80?305; +21) held at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin. He was a member of the Colorado Juniors Americas Cup Team. 2008: He did not advance to the match play portion of the U.S. Junior Amateur, carding a 77-78?155 to miss by two strokes at Birmingham, Alabama’s Shoal Creek Golf Club; he qualified for the event with a 69-73?142 at Boulder’s Lake Valley (-2; he tied for second). He finished fifth in the Colorado Golf Association’s Junior Series Championship at Aurora’s Saddleback Golf Club (74-73?147, +3).

Academics?He is majoring in Business (undecided on his sequence) at Colorado. He was named to the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for his first semester at CU (Fall 2009). He was a three-time Colorado Junior Golf Association Academic All-Star in high school.
Personal?He was born November 9, 1990 in Boulder. Hobbies include going to the movies, poker, hiking and most anything to do with the outdoors and the mountains.
