College-This Season (Soph.): He saw action in three meets in the fall, including the Colorado Cup against Colorado State, where he won his singles match 1-up over Jackson Giro, his first round of collegiate competition. He played as an individual in the Air Force Miranda Invitational, tying for 29th with a 78-74-70-222 (+6) effort; the final round 2-under 70 was the best single round score by a Buff in the tournament, in which he tied for second among CU's participants. He placed 55th in his other fall event, the CU-Simpson invite, with an opening round 81 sidetracking him from a better finish once he closed with rounds of 73 and 74 for a 228 (+12) score. In the fall, he was 12th nationally in the NCAA in greens in regulation, doing so at a 76.9 percentage (83 of 108 holes); that was bolstered by an eighth place standing in GIR's within 15 feet (42.6 percent). He also ranked 70th nationally with two eagles, the only Buff with more than one. He was the only signee in CU's 2010 recruiting class, but only has three years of eligibility due to his age on the first day of school (22).
High School-He was the captain of the NSW Colts team, which finished second in the Interstate series. He won eight of nine matches playing as the team's No. 1 man. As a junior, he won numerous state competitions including the prestigious Muswellbrook Junior title in 2006, and was runner-up to his brother the same year in the NSW State Age Junior Championship. He also played on his high school's tennis and cricket teams.
Other-2010: In the spring, he was the No. 15 ranked amateur overall in Australia (most of the players ahead of him were either already playing in the United States or were in the process of turning pro). He was ranked as the No. 256 amateur in the world in the May World Amateur Golf Rankings of May 16, when he also was the No. 212 player in the Scratch Players World Amateur Rankings. Golfweek pegged him as the No. 98 ranked amateur in the world and the 10th-ranked amateur in Australia. He was a semifinalist in the NSW Amateur Championship, was runner-up in the Australian Foursomes. He tied for sixth in the Federal Open Amateur and tied for ninth in the Lake Macquarie International, with his NSW Vardon average for 2009-10 was 70.1 2009: He won the Kooinda Waters Cup (68, -4) and was the NSW State Foursomes champion. 2008: The winner of the Killara Cup (69, -3) and Parkes Open, setting a tournament record in the latter (67-35-102; a 27-hole event), he was 13th on the Vardon list with a 70.64 average. 2007: Won the Yowani Open.

Academics-He is majoring in Environmental Design at Colorado. He was accepted into the University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales, upon his high school graduation, where he intended to study regional and town planning.
Personal-He was born August 22, 1988 in Dubbo, Australia; Dubbo is a small city about 200 miles northwest of Sydney in the state of New South Wales (NSW). He has an identical twin brother, Lindsay, who resides in Whistler, B.C. Hobbies include snowboard, tennis and traveling, and he has also worked as a golf counsellor to young children, both in Australia and at Kutsher's Summer Camp in New York State. He has aspiration of being a golf course designer in conjunction with playing professionally after college. He spent a year working in the United States and Canada after graduating from high school in 2006, noting that the "mountains struck me as just awesome." He is the fourth Australian to join the CU golf program, following in the footsteps on Stephen Carroll, Kane Webber and Matt Zions, who roamed golf courses for the Buffaloes between 1999 and 2004.
