Career—She finished her career having skied in and finished 38 of a possible 42 races in her career with 15 top 20 finishes, including 13 of the last 20 races of her career. She in fact had eight top 20 finishes to end her career after having seven top 20 finishes in the first 30 races of her career.
2021 (Senior)—She opened her final season in Aspen taking 22nd in the freestyle and 23rd in the classic races at the RMISA Invitational at Utah, and then improved to take 20th in the freestyle and 16th in the classic race at the DU Invitational, setting new career bests in both disciplines. She bettered both marks at CU’s Spencer James Nelson Memorial Invitational to again set career vests, finishing 12th in the freestyle sprint races and 11th in the classic race. Closing out the season back in Utah, she continued her improved performance by taking 18th in three races at Soldier Hollow in the RMISA Invitational at Soldier Hollow and RMISA Championships. She was 18th in both races at the RMISA Championships and along with her 18th place classic finish, she was 14th in freestyle at the RMISA Invitational at Soldier Hollow to close out her career. She was also named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.
2020 (Junior)—She improved somewhat in 2020 and finished half of her 10 races in the top 20 after having only three top 20 finishes in her first 22 career races. Three of her five top 20s came in freestyle with the other two in classic action. She opened the season with a 17th place finish in the freestyle and 23rd place finish in the classic race in Steamboat Springs for the CU Invitational, then finished 20th in the classic and 21st in the freestyle at Maloit Park for the DU Invitational. She had her best career weekend in Aspen, taking 14th in the freestyle race and 19th in the 21K classic Owl Creek Chase for RMISA qualifier races. At Soldier Hollow, she was 23rd in the freestyle and 24th in the classic race for the Utah Invitational and then she closed her season out at Crosscut Mountain for the RMISA Championships taking 21st in the freestyle and 18th in the classic, her best classic finish of the season. She was also named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team for the second time in her career.
2019 (Sophomore)—She raced in six of a possible 10 races in 2019, sitting out the 15K classic race at Montana State due to illness and missing three of four races in Alaska. She finished 26th in both races at the Colorado Invitational to open the season and 24th in the freestyle race at the MSU Invitational. She had her best career freestyle finish and first top 20 in that discipline at New Mexico, also taking 22nd in the classic race. After missing three races in Alaska, she did compete in the final race of the season at the RMISA Championships, taking 32nd in the classic race.
2018 (Freshman)—She raced and finished all 12 races on the season through the RMISA Championships in her first winter skiing with the Buffs … Her best race came in the 5K classic at the UNM Invite when she finished 16th … Top freestyle result also came at the UNM Invite, and it was the longest race of the season at 21K, where she place 22nd. She was named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team.
Prior to CU—Lehmkuhl competed for the Auburn Ski Club prior to Colorado ... Was also one of 37 athletes to make the Far West Nordic Junior National Team that competed at the USSA Cross Country Skiing Junior National Championships in Telemark, Wisc. on March 6, 2016 ... Earned her spot on that Far West Nordic Junior National Team through seven Junior National Qualifiers held throughout the season, starting with two races at her own Auburn Ski Club and finishing with the President's Cup on Feb. 15, 2016 ... Skiers were required to qualify in at least three races, and in at least one skate and one classic event ... At the 2017 US Cross Country Ski Champions Free Sprint Qualifier at Soldier Hollow Resort she finished 42nd with a time of 3:48.33.
High School—She was the Nordic state champion as well as the cross country state champion her senior year at North Tahoe High School ... Won the cross country state championship as a sophomore ... Running the 5,000 meters at the NIAA 1A-2A State Championship in 2016, she set a new state record with a time of 19:44.0 ... At the 69th Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational on Oct. 21, 2016, she finished third in the 2.93 mile run with a time of 20:11.0.
In the Classroom—She is majoring in Integrative Physiology at Colorado while also pursuing a double-degree in Psychology. She was named to the 2018 and 2020 National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team, which requires a cumulative 3.5 grade point average and competing at the NCAA Regional Championships. In high school she was honored with the distinguished scholar award her sophomore, junior and senior year’s.
