“Abbie lends some important stability and depth on the defensive side of the game. She is a local product and brings a great deal of athleticism, and a calmness about competing that will help her to contribute to this team.”
High School
D’Agosta played outside hitter during her senior year at Fossil Ridge High School. She recorded 214 points for the team with 193 kills and 21 aces. She also added 313 digs in 85 games played. On Oct. 14, D’Agosta recorded a season-best 16 points (14 kills and two aces) against Fort Collins. She also tallied 14 kills on Nov. 1 against Legend. A three-year letterwinner at FRHS, D’Agosta was named to the all-conference first team as a senior.
She has played club volleyball for NORCO in Windsor, Colo. for Jared Rudiger. Her team qualified for nationals at Crossroads in 2015. D’Agosta also received the Rocky Mountain regional all-star award. Several schools including Northern Colorado, Colorado State, Louisiana-Lafayette, Penn State and Omaha recruited D’Agosta.
Personal
Abbie D’Agosta is the daughter of Jeff and Billie Jo D’Agosta and was born on August 11, 1997 in Fort Collins, Colo. D’Agosta has an older sister, Gabrielle. She enjoys running, hiking and playing piano.
Academics
D’Agosta is an open option major.
