2015-16 (Sr.): Zech competed in six tournaments during her final year for the Buffaloes, posting a 77.56 stroke average in 16 rounds played. In the fall, Zech recorded a personal-best for the year in the team’s season opener, finishing tied for 15th overall at the Minnesota Invitational, where she carded a 225 or 9-over par performance. In total, Zech tallied 14 rounds in the 70s, 30 birdies and ranked sixth on the team with 163 pars. Zech was also recognized for her stellar work in the classroom as she was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team for a second consecutive year. 
 
2014-15 (Jr.): Zech played in six tournaments during her junior year, five as an individual and one as part of team scoring. She finished with a 79.00 stroke average in 15 rounds, ranking sixth on the team and posted seven rounds in the 70s, including a 71 in the Denver vs. Colorado JV meet in which she took first place at 1-under par. Additional tournaments she competed in included the Golfweek Conference Challenge and Ron Moore Intercollegiate during the fall and the Peg Barnard Invitational, Bay Area Intercollegiate and LSU Tiger Golf Classic in the spring. Zech was also recognized for her achievements in the classroom as she earned Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team honors.
 
2013-14 (So.): Zech competed in three tournaments in the fall, with six of her nine rounds counting toward team scoring.  She compiled a 78.33 stroke average, ranking fourth on the team, and recorded six rounds in the 70s in her first two tournaments of the season.  She tied for 30th at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic to begin the season, finishing with a scorecard of 76-77-74—227.  At the New Mexico Invite, she shot 10-over par 229.  She played in one tournament in the spring, finishing third amongst individual competitors at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic.  
 
2012-13 (Fr.): Zech walked-on for the Buffaloes and her impact on the program was immediate in the fall season, as she played in four tournaments and 12 rounds.  She compiled a stroke average of 77.67, with nine rounds in the 70s, the second-best mark on the squad.  In the spring, she competed in all six tournaments, compiling a 77.88 stroke average.  At season’s end, her stroke average of 77.79 ranked fourth on the team, and third amongst teammates who played more than 25 rounds.  She had 21 rounds in the 70s, and 20 of her 23 rounds counted toward team scoring.  She was at her best at the New Mexico Invitational, when she shot a 9-over par 228 and finished tied for 35th individually with a 75-75-78—228 scorecard on the par 73 course.  She shot a season-low 2-over par 74 twice during the season, at the Tar Heel Invitational in October and at the Clover Cup in March.  
 
High School: Zech was a four-year letterwinner in golf at Palm Desert High School in Palm Desert, Calif.  She led Palm Desert to four Desert Valley League Championships and four California Interscholastic Federation regional championships and was the 2011 CIF Southern California champions.  Palm Desert took third place in the state championships in 2010 and 2011.  Her 2011 squad won the WSCGA championship.  She represented Southern California on the SCPGA Team in 2009 and 2010 in the North vs. South Team Cup.  She was a four-time first-team All-Desert Valley League selection and got it done in the classroom with four High Honor Roll honors, three Academic Athlete honors and as a freshman had a top 10 GPA.  She is the only golfer in Desert Valley League history to shoot a 3-under par 33 on three separate occasions. 
 
Other: She narrowly missed out on two match-play championships in 2010, first by three strokes at the 2010 Women’s Amateur Championships in Charlotte, N.C., and then by just one stroke at the 2010 Women’s Amateur Public Links Championships in South Bend, Ind.  She also played in the 2011 Women’s Amateur Public Links Championships in Bandon, Ore., and won the 2012 FCG Collegiate Championship.  She was top 5 at the 2011 WSCGA High School Championships and played in the 2011 Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship.  She also won events on SCPGA, JAGS and FCG. She placed third at the 2014 Colorado Women’s Golf Association Stroke Play Championship, finishing just three strokes off the lead.
 
Best Career Round In Competition: 68 (-4; 2012, SCPGA Bridgestone Summer Series Desert Championship).
 
Academics: She is majoring in International Affairs at Colorado.  She earned the CU women’s golf team’s Outstanding Academic Award in 2014. She was a member of the Palm Desert High School High Honor Roll each of her four years of high school and was three times honored as an Academic Athlete.  She graduated as a Senior Scholar.
 
Personal: Alleman Faye Zech was born December 23, 1993, in Palm Springs, to Lawrence and Debra Zech.  Her dad played golf at San Diego State and as a professional, while her aunt, Helen Zech, played tennis at Oregon and as a professional.  She enjoys working out, art, reading, all sports and going to the beach.  She enjoys volunteering at The First Tee and was the Volunteer of the Year in 2009.  She won a Palm Desert Mayor award for a Best of Show essay she wrote and was selected as the inspirational leader by the ASB.  She chose to attend Colorado because it was the perfect mix of academic and athletic challenges that she was looking for to push herself.
