Lily Assini led the Buffs in a dominant win for their Big 12 opener, downing San Diego, 16-5.
- Assini, who came into the game with 97 points, matched a career-high four goals and added two assists to bring her career point total to 103.
- She is tied with Marie Moore for 13th in the CU record book.
- Assini also scored four times the last time CU played against the Aztecs on March 29, 2025 at SDSU.
