CU’s Female Athlete of the Year as a sophomore for 2005-06, when her seven wins on the season tied for the most by any alpine skier in CU history (the most by a female) … She also earned CU’s Female Career Athletic Achievement Award following the completion of her career for the 2007-08 year … Her 16 career wins remain third in CU ski annals … With 16 wins, 11 runner-up finishes and seven third place efforts, her 34 podium finishes are tied for the most by a female and tied for the second-most overall in CU skiing history … A three-time national champion, as she won the NCAA Slalom in 2006 and both the Giant Slalom and Slalom in 2008 as a senior … A seven-time, first-team All-American (four slalom, three GS) … Helped the Buffaloes to the 2006 NCAA Championship, the school’s first since 1998 … In 48 career races, she finished in the top five 39 times, including in her last 14 collegiate races … Won a school record seven alpine races for a woman in 2006 (tying Toni Standteiner’s record in 1991 and recording CU’s first women’s alpine win since 1999) and nearly matched that total with six in 2008 … Also had three runner-up finishes in ’06 … Led the CU women to 13 wins in 24 meets when scoring was separated out … Four-time Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association skier of the week, twice winning the RMISA Women’s Alpine Skier of the Year honor (sophomore and senior years) … Also a two-time RMISA slalom champion … Won the GS and the slalom (sweep) at the same meet four times in her career … Earned a spot on the Czech National Team in 2007, competing in several World Cup events … Competed twice in the World University Games in 2005 and 2007 … She concluded the 2007 season ranked 54th and 123rd in the world in the slalom and GS, respectively, which was the top ranking ever at the time by a CU skier, male or female, since the FIS point system began … After graduating with a Business degree from CU, she did investment research for five years in Boulder before moving to California, where she earned a Master’s degree in International Policy/Political Economy from Stanford … She leads policy for self-driving commercial vehicles at Uber … Married to former CU skier and teammate, Miles Cooke; the couple had their first child (Anna Rose) on September 4 … Now residing in San Francisco, their skiing is now mostly of the backcountry variety.
