? HOBBS IS BACK...After rehabilitating from a sublexed patella/osteochondral defect, sophomore Melissa Hobbs retuned to the court for the first time this season. She went 1-4 from the field, but had two assists in 12 minutes of action.
? 400 AND COUNTING...With the win Colorado Head Coach Ceal Barry picked up her 400th win at CU, while it is her 483rd victory of her coaching career, just 17 away from the 500 club. She is tied with former track coach Frank Potts for most events coached at CU with 616.
? MOVING ON UP...Tera Bjorklund moved past Jenny Roulier into 8th place on Colorado's all-time scoring chart. She now has 1,419 career points in just 102 games played. It was her third 20-plus effort of the season and the 24th of her career. She wasn't done there. Bjorklund also picked up her 100th career blocked shot and is only of five players in CU history to swat away more than 100 with that last one being Britt Hartshorn. It was her 23rd straight double digit scoring effort and she has reached over 100 points in just five games. Her 14 rebounds is the first double-digit rebounding effort of the season and 10th of her career.
? SHOWING UP TO PLAY...Sarah Lini scored her first bucket of the season at the 6:08 mark of the first half. She also had two blocks and two rebounds to go along with six points.
? SHOWING SOME LOVE...Veronica Johns-Richardson set a new career high in assists tonight with six, two more than her former career high.
