Hogan Skies To Athlete of Week

He won the slalom in a combined time of 1:15.94 after dissecting both the first (35.86) and second (40.08) runs in the fastest times of the day.
Hogan is in his first semester at CU and is an open option major. Others nominated Athlete of the Week were Morgan Sall (women's tennis), Michel Morandais (men's basketball), and Mia Cullman (women's alpine skiing).
WOMEN'S TENNIS: Morgan Sall, Junior, Miami, Fla.
Junior Morgan Sall won her 11th singles match of the year taking a three-set win at No. 5 singles helping No. 63 ranked Colorado Buffaloes to a 4-3 upset win over No. 46 Minnesota.Sall evened her spring record at 2-2, however won her 11th match of the year defeating Nischela Reddy, 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 at No. 5 singles giving CU its fourth win in five matches this spring.
MEN'S BASKETBALL: Michel Morandais, Junior, Guadeloupe, French W. Indies
Morandais had a game-high 24-points, career-tying seven assists, three steals, two blocked shots in Colorado's 93-80 upset win over then-No. 3 Texas. On the season, Morandais is averaging 17. 3 points per game, 5.4 rebounds per game, and is shooting 73.1 percent from the free throw line.
WOMEN'S SKIING (Alpine): Mia Cullman, Junior, Vail, Colo.
Sparked by Saturday's fastest second run (40.92), Mia Cullman rebounded from last weekend's disappointing 35th place finish in the slalom at Eldora to finish second in the event at Mt. Crested Butte, in 1:21.99, her seventh top-10 finish of the year and second-straight runner-up finish as she finished second in Friday's GS.
