Colorado Postgame Notes

March 11, 2003 | Women's Basketball

-Tera Bjorklund's career-high 32 points tied a Big 12 Tournament record high, matching Nicole Kubik's effort on March 8, 2000 against Kansas in the second round. She is the first player to score 30+ points in a single game for Colorado since Jenny Roulier had 35 in a loss at Baylor on Feb. 23, 2000.

-She has scored 492 points this season, tying Lisa Van Goor for the 7th most in a single season. Van Goor did it in 29 games.

-Bjorklund's 21 second-half points was three short of the CU record for points in a half. The record is 24 by Susan Horner vs. Weber State on March 10, 1979. Her 32 were six off the single game record of 38, also held by Horner in the same game.

-She has scored 20+ points in five consecutive games, and has 10 or more points in the last five straight halves.

-It marks the fifth time this season that Kate Fagan has made four or more three pointers in a game. She has 58 on the season, the 8th highest total in a single season at CU.

-Colorado has 22 wins for the third-straight season, and has beaten Oklahoma twice in a row. The season series now stands at 33-14, 7-1 in neutral games, and snaps a two-game CU losing streak in postseason contests against the Sooners.

-CU's 22 assists are a season-high, besting the previous mark of 21, set against Kansas and Evansville.
