- It was the first conference game played this season for both schools

 

- CU has lost seven straight Big 12 openers (1-7 since the inception of the Big 12); three of those losses to Kansas

(2003-04, 2001-02, 1999-2000); two of those on ESPN's Big Monday (2003-04, 1999-2000).

 

- CU has lost three consecutive games at home for the first time since 2001-02 season (Texas Tech, Missouri, Oklahoma).

 

- Blair Wilson scored 19 points to eclipse 1,000 points (1,018) in his career (23rd player in CU history).
