- CU's first win over
- This was only the sixth game in Big 12 Conference play this year where both teams scored 80 points (four OT affairs)?but the third in the last five days (OSU-NU and MU-OSU).
- OU's Streaky First Half: the Sooners made their first four shots, then missed the next 11, then made 9-of-10, and then missed the next six before Lavender's three right before the halftime horn.
- Coach Patton teams are 2-10 vs. the Sooners since 1996
- CU has won three straight and improves to 6-1 in the Big 12 at home, 14-1 in last two seasons
- CU allowed eight 3-pointers in the first, only five in the second & overtime
- CU is 16-0? when leading at the 10, 5, 2-minute marks of the second half
- David Harrison recorded his Big 12 best 11th double-double (24th career); third straight and seventh in the Big 12 this season
- CU is 12-2 when scoring 90 points in Patton tenure (1-0 this season)
