BURGIN LEAVES COLORADO BASKETBALL PROGRAM

BOULDER - Ron Burgin, assistant coach for the University of Colorado women's basketball team, has resigned to pursue head coaching interests, Ceal Barry announced Tuesday.
"We appreciate Coach Burgin's contributions to our program and wish him the best of luck in his future basketball coaching endeavors," said Barry.
Burgin came to Colorado last spring from ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo. He spent the season at CU primarily working with the post players as well as recruiting and scouting.
"I just want to thank Coach Barry for the opportunity to work with her and such a great program," said Burgin. "It was a really good learning experience for me."
