Pincock Named Big 12 Athlete of the Week

DALLAS-- George Pincock, a junior sprinter from Carson City, Nev., was named the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the week, announced on Thursday by the conference. The honor is the first in Pincock's career.
Last week, Pincock took top honors in three events at the Ris Western/Air Force Twilight Invitational at the Air Force Academy. The junior finished first in the 400-meters with a regional qualifying mark and a personal-best time of 46.88. The Carson City, Nev. native also took first in the 200-meters (21.39) and as the anchor for the 4x100 relay team.
The Buffaloes are in action May 12-14 at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The championship will take place at the Hart-Patterson Track & Field Complex on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
