McFARLAND'S BIG DAY AGAINST TEXAS TECH: Junior Jackie McFarland had a big day in CU's opening round win over Texas Tech:

? She scored 32 points, just two off a career high and recorded personal bests with 14 free throws made on 16 attempts.

? McFarland's 32 points set a Big 12 Tournament first round game scoring record. Her 32 points tied the best output by a CU player in Big 12 tournament action, matching Tera Bjorklund's 32 against Oklahoma in a quarterfinal game on March 12, 2003.

? Her 32 allowed her to eclipse 500 points on the season, making her just the third Buff in team history to hit 500 in consecutive years.

? She recorded her 36th career double-double, leaving her just one away from tying Erin Scholz (1993-97) for second on the CU all-time list.

? Her 14 free throws gave her 152 on the season, the third best single-season mark in team history and just three away from passing Bridget Turner who holds the team record with 154 in 1988-89.
