New Look Buffs: CU wore gold jerseys for the first time what is believed to the first time since the 1996-97 season.

Changing History: Marcus Hall was on the move against Nebraska. Hall moved up in the rankings in three separate all-time history categories. With his two steals he moved into 10th place on the all-time steals list. With his start against the Cornhuskers he moved into 25th place on the games played all-time list (104 games) and 21st in the games started category with his 60th career start.

Richard Roby moved into sixth place on the all-time list with his four field goals that put his total at 591. Roby joins Hall on the all-time games played list and the Nebraska game moved him into 28th place (103 games). Roby also moved into 13th place on the all-time blocked shots list with his three blocks against Nebraska. His three assists also moved him into 16th place on the all-time assists list.

Freshman Phenom: For the second game in a row freshman guard Cory Higgins led the Buffs in scoring with 13 points. In Colorado's last game against Texas A&M, Higgins scored 15 points.

Turnvers: Colorado had only 10 turnovers against Nebraska, tying for their lowest turnover total of the season. Their other 10-turnover game came against Texas A&M, last Saturday.

Holding the Lead: CU's biggest lead of the game: 41-34 (9:16 remaining in the second half); 51-44 (1:33 remaining in the second half).

Big 12 Home Win: Coach Bzdelik is the first CU head coach to win his first conference home victory since Ricardo Patton won his first conference home game, also against Nebraska back on Jan. 4, 1997.
