Team Notes

 

  • Richard Roby outscored the other four Buff starters combined in the first half. Roby led the team with 15 first-half points, while Cory Higgins chipped in six points, Xavier Silas had two points, Marcus King-Stockton had just one point and Marcus Hall was held scoreless.
  • Colorado was out-rebounded tonight (41-to-30) by 10 or more for the first time since Stanford on Dec. 2 (38-to-21). 

 

 

Richard Roby

 

  • Roby tied his season-high 27 points against Kansas State. That was third time this season that Roby tallied 27 for the Buffs. His two previous 27-point games came against New Orleans and Tulsa, which were both Colorado losses.
  • Roby continued his dominance at Coors Events Center against K-State. Roby's career average against the Wildcats is 25.3 points at home. In the two team's last four meetings in Boulder, Roby scored 26, 30, 18 and 27 points. 
  • Roby moved up to 20th place on the all-time rebounding list with his nine rebounds against Kansas State, giving him 556 career rebounds. 
  • Roby surpassed former Buffalo Stevie Wise in career field goal attempts to move into fourth place in the category. The senior racked up 17 attempts against the Wildcats, putting him at 1,408 for his career.
  • Roby tallied double figures in points scored for the 16th time in his last 18 appearances. The Kansas State game marked his 23rd consecutive start for the Buffaloes.
  • Roby scored his sixth 20+ scoring game this season (37th career).

 

 

Marcus Hall

 

  • Hall was held to a season-tying-low four points against Kansas State. He was held scoreless in the first half and scored his first two points with 17:47 remaining in the second half.  Hall's other four point game came in a loss to Tulsa.

 

 

Cory Higgins

 

  • Higgins recorded his ninth double-digit scoring effort on the season, bringing in 10 points for the Buffaloes against Kansas State.
  • Higgins made a pair of 3-pointers for the fourth straight game.
