Colorado has now won 10 straight for the first time since the 1994-95 squad won a team record 25 in a row. It is the seventh time in team history the Buffaloes have won 10 or more straight games.

Colorado is 11-2 overall and off to its best start since the 2003-04 team which was 12-1 through 13 games. The Buffaloes have an 11-2 start or better for the 11th time in school history. CU has been 11-2 six times, 12-1 four times and 13-0 in 1992-93.

Colorado didn't win its 11th game in 2006-07 until its 24th game on Feb. 14, 2006 (11-13). CU registered just nine wins in the 2005-06 (9-21) and 2004-05 seasons (9-19).

 

Colorado improves to 11-0 this season when leading at halftime. The Buffs also improve to 8-1 at home.

 

Bianca Smith hit her first three 3-pointers on the night and finished 4-of-8 from downtown. She now has 32 3-pointers through 13 games, matching her 30-game total from 2006-07.

 

Smith has scored in double-digits in three straight games and in seven of the last eight.

 

Susie Powers had a career-high with 10 assists, the most by a Buff since Whitney Law had a school-record 15 against Cal State Fullerton on Nov. 18, 2005. She has 65 assists on the season and 57 have come in the last nine games (6.3 apg).

 

Jackie McFarland played her 100th game in a CU uniform. She registered 19 points on the night for the 82nd double-digit scoring performance of her career, sixth on CU's all-time list. She has been in double-digits in 68 of her last 73 games.
