5th PLACE - SCORING LIST: Richard Roby moved into fifth place on CU's all-time scoring list with 27 points tonight. He now has 1,689 points passing Emmett Lewis (1,680, 1976-79). In fourth place is Stevie Wise (1,727 pts.). Tonight he scored 18 of his 27 points in the first half.

 

 - fifth 20th point effort of the season; 36th career

 

RECORD SETTER:  Marcus Hall recorded a career-high eight steals and 10 rebounds.  He also added nine assists.

Colorado finished with a season-best 12 steals.

               

SHORT LINEUP: CU played with only seven players for the second straight game.

 

NON-CONFERENCE WRAP: Colorado concluded the non-conference portion of the schedule with an 8-6 record.

 

M.I.A.: Sophomore guard Dwight Thorne missed his second straight game with a deep right knee bruise.

 

UP NEXT: The Big 12 Conference season opener is next on the schedule is a trip to College Station to take on the No. 12/10 nationally ranked Texas A&M Aggies, Saturday, Jan. 12 (ESPN Plus). Conference openers have not been kind to CU since the Big 12 inception, registering a 1-10 record (0-4 on the road). They have also lost their last 10 in a row conference openers. The game will be broadcast on Altitude.

 

Half Time: CU tied a season-high for points in a half (42); Marcus Hall recorded five steals in the first half, one shy of tying the school record for steals in a half; Hall also had tied a season-high six assists.
