Colorado improves its all-time record against Kansas State to 32-29. The Buffaloes salvage the series split against the Wildcats, marking the first time since 2002 the CU-KSU regular season series has seen a split, and just the second time in the past nine campaigns.

Colorado improves to 3-3 against ranked teams in 2007-08. The No. 15 Wildcats are the highest ranked team the Buffaloes have beaten since defeating No. 15 Notre Dame, 67-63 on Nov. 15, 2003.  It's the highest ranked team the Buffs have beaten as an unranked team since knocking off No. 12 North Carolina 86-67 in the second round of the 2003 NCAA Tournament in Boulder.

For the first time since the 1998-99 season both games of the season series were played under a 10 point differential. Kansas State won the game in Manhattan 67-60 on Jan. 19. The combined margin (12) between the two games is the lowest since 1999 when CU won 57-54 in Manhattan and KSU won 59-57 in Boulder.

CU's three wins over ranked teams this season are its most since going 3-7 against the nation's Top 25 in 2003-04.

Colorado's 40 first half points were its most in the Big 12 this season and the highest since scoring 49 against Jacksonville State in the first half on Dec. 30, 2007. It was CU's most in the first half against a Big 12 school since scoring 48 in the first half of an 81-67 win over Iowa State on Jan. 10, 2007.

Colorado's eight first-half 3-pointers matched a season high. The Buffs also had eight in the first half of the win over Northern Colorado on Nov. 28. CU's 53.6 percent shooting in the first half was the second highest first half of the season, trailing only the Jacksonville State game when the Buffs shot 55.2 percent.

Colorado extended it's school record for games in a season with 10 or more 3-pointers to eight.

Sophomore Bianca Smith has moved into eighth place on CU's all-time list for 3-point field goals made. She was 5-of-9 on the night to move her career total to 99, passing Annan Wilson who had 96 from 1986-90.

Freshman Brittany Spears had 20 points, marking the 14th time this season she has had 15 or more points in one game. Her season total of 361 is the most by a CU freshman since Shelley Sheetz had 437 in 1991-92.

Senior Jackie McFarland moved into 3rd place on CU's all-time scoring list, passing Shelley Sheetz who had 1,775 from 1991-95. McFarland now has 1,778 points.
