Team Notes

- In Big 12 play, CU is 8-4 in home finales (2-1 vs. Iowa State)

- CU is 2-4 when wearing their gold uniforms this season

- CU has led after every media timeout in the first half, including half, a season first  (including half time)

- 10-0 run over a 2:48 span to open the 2nd half, increasing 26-24 lead to 36-24

- tied the fewest 3-point attempts in a half this year; only the fifth time w/out a 3-pointers make in a half, then hit Hall

- CU has made a 3-pointer in 191 consecutive games. Last time they failed to make at least one trey was Jan. 16, 2002 against Iowa State in Boulder. The Buffs won 63-61.

- Hall (31) and Roby (17) combined for 48 points ? the most this season (old_41 vs. Mzoou in 66-62 loss)

- CU shot 51 percent from the field, it's the 10th time that has been this season (CU is 7-3)

- Held Iowa State to 1-for-10 shooting to open up both the 1st Half and 2nd Half of play

- Colorado shot 73% from the field in the in the second half (16-for-22)

- This was the 1st time all season that Colorado did not hit double figures in 3-point shots attempted in a game (4-for-7 total)

- All 4 Three Point shots were made in the 2nd half today, including Roby and Hall making back-to-back 3's to start the 2nd half

- Colorado went 6-for-6 from the field to end the game today

- Colorado had 7 blocks today, which is the most they have had in Big 12 Play this year.  The team had 8 blocks vs. Grambling St. on Dec. 29

- Colorado held a 28-8 points in the paint advantage at the 11 minute mark of the 2nd half

- Colorado shot a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line in the 1st half

 

Richard Roby

- improved his third place scoring place with 17 points (1,924) career points. He stands 16 points behind Cliff Meely for second and 71 points from Donnie Boyce for top honors. Roby is fifth all-time in Big 12 Conference scoring.

- scored 101 career games (out of 115) in scoring double figures

- In career conference minutes, Roby has 2,040 minutes is second all-time to Jay Humphries' school record of 2,042 set back in 1981-84.

 

Marcus Hall

-Scored a career-high 31 points (third 20-pt. effort this season, ninth career); also had career-highs in FGs made (13) and attempts (21)

-moved into 21st place all-time list scoring list (1108), two points from 20th (Jim Davis)

-341 career assists, five from fifth all-time (Donnie Boyce)

- Has led the Buffs in scoring 11 times this season

- Hall 533 conference minutes and is closing in on the school mark of 557 set by Chauncey Billups in 1996-97.

- Hall's 31 points were the most scored by a CU player since Roby had 30 at Kansas 1/27/2007

- This is the second time this season that Hall led Colorado in points, rebounds & assists in a game (11/9 vs. New Mexico)

- Hall has a season-best 1,038 minutes played moving up seven spots to fifth all-time dating back to 1978-79 when those records were kept.

-          grabbed five rebounds today, it's his 12th game with five or more rebounds

 

Jermyl Jackson-WIlson

- His 9 points today were the most he has had in a game since getting 9 points at Iowa State on 1/29

 

Andrew Zehnder

- freshman walk-on played in the first half this year for the first time (four minutes)

 

Marcus King-Stockton

- tied career best four blocked shots today; moves into sixth place on  the all-time at CU in blocked shots (101)

- personal-best 39 blocks

- has 10 blocks in his last 3 games
