BuffVision Earns National Honor

BOULDER - The University of Colorado's BuffVision department has been honored with their second-straight Telly Award, winning a Bronze statue for the 2007-08 Buffalo Stampede Coaches Show.
It is the seventh national award received by BuffVision and the second Telly Award for the Coaches Show since its inception in 1999. BuffVision, which is headed by Director Deric Swanson and Assistant Director Eric Pelloni, produces the Buffalo Stampede Coaches Show seen weekly on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain throughout the entire school year. Along with 33 coaches' shows, BuffVision produces all the video for the athletic department's 16 sports and all the multi-media on CUBuffs.com
Founded in 1978, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions. This year's Telly Awards received over 13,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. BuffVision has received four Telly statues in the last six years, including two in 2006 for the CU Institutional Spot featuring Ralphie running through the Boulder campus.
