Colorado vs Harvard Game Notes

Colorado is 4-1 overall for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
Colorado is now 36-10 all time in its home holiday classic and has won 13 of the 22 tournament titles contested.
Head coach Kathy McConnell-Miller is now 1-0 vs Harvard. CU is now 2-0 overall against Harvard.
Harvard opened up the first 2:52 on an 8-0 run. Colorado stormed back in the next 4:13 with their own 9-0 run, lead by three pointers from Bianca Smith, and Brittany Spears to get their first lead of the game 9-8.
Has had a double-double (11 points, 11 rebounds tonight) in three of the first five games this season giving her 18 on her career.
Spears had 11 rebounds adding to her team high which now stands at 52.
Spears has scored in double digits the first five games to begin this season. She has had nine consecutive games with 10 or more points dating back to February 28, 2009 vs Missouri. Tonight was her 59th career game with double digits.
Smith has come off the bench for the first five games this season.
Smith has hit a 3-pointer in all five games to open this season. She leads the team with 16 three point field goals made.
Smith continues her hot shooting from the line. She is now 12-of-13 on the season a team best 92.3%.
Smith recorded 16 points in 14 minutes of play in the first half, just one point shy of her previous season high mark of 17 at Minnesota. She had a total of 22 setting a new season high.
Malcolm-Peck has now started in all five games to begin her colligate career.
Jeffery has now had double digits (14 pts) in consecutive games for the first time in her career. Her 14 points also set a new career high.
