 General

-Coach Bzdelik falls to 13-1 in his coaching career against schools from the state of Colorado. Bzdelik is now 6-1 versus Colorado State (2-1 at CU, 4-0 at Air Force).

-62 points for CU is lowest output against Colorado State since losing 79-57 in Fort Collins on Dec. 8, 1999. Also CU's largest margin of defeat against CSU since then.

-CU's 16 turnovers is their second highest amount of the season (20 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff).

-CU had its poorest shooting night from the field of the season as they shot 37.3 percent (19-of-51). 19 made field goals is also a season low.

-CU's three treys was their lowest amount of the season.

-Cory Higgins and Alec Burks have been CU's top two scorers in all but two games this season (Arizona and Chaminade).

-10 point halftime deficit was largest of the season for the Buffaloes.

-CU had its poorest first half field goal percentage of the season (34.8, 8-of-23). Eight made field goals also a first half low for the season.

Cory Higgins

-Became the 26th Buff to surpass the 1,000 point mark tonight. He now has 1,001 for his career. Next on the all-time scoring chart is Chauncey Billups (1,020 points).

-Tonight's game marks Higgins' 73rd consecutive start. He has started every game he has played at Colorado and is now tied with Michel Morandais for 15th all-time in games started. 

-With 11 made free throws, Higgins has made at least ten for the second consecutive game and the third time this season (six career).

-Scored in double digits for the ninth time this season (52nd career).

-Tied with Burks for the team lead with three assists. Second time this season Higgins has led in assists (both shared).

Alec Burks

-Has started all ten games to begin his collegiate career and has scored in double digits in all ten games.

-Led CU in scoring for the fourth time this season (two shared).

-Scored 20+ points for the second time this season (23 against Texas Southern).

-Set a career high with nine made field goals.

-With 161 points for the season, Burks has scored more points in his first ten games than any other CU freshman since the formation of the Big 12 (previous high- Richard Roby with 144).

-Tied with Higgins for the team lead with three assists. Second time this season Burks has led in assists.

Shane Harris-Tunks

-Leads CU with eight blocks for the season (one tonight).

Marcus Relphorde

-Had a team-high five boards, marking the first time he has led CU in rebounding.
