General
-Colorado is now 2-1 all time against Yale, and 8-1 overall against the Ivy League. Coach Bzdelik is now 1-0 against the Bulldogs.
-Colorado is 7-0 at home to start the season for the first time since the 2005-06 season.
-Colorado has now hit a three point basket in 238 consecutive games. They were 0-for-6 on first half three point attempts. Their first three came just 1:58 into the second half.
-CU's eight steals in the first half set a new first half high on the season. Previously the Buffs had 7 steals a mark they met three times this season (Arizona, Chaminade, Cal State Northridge). CU set a new season high in steals with 18. Previously Colorado had 15 steals against Cal State Northridge.
-In the opening 6:30 of the second half Colorado went on a 17-8 run led by Marcus Relphorde's ten points.
-Colorado held Yale's Alex Zampier (18.9 ppg.) scoreless in the first half for the first time this season. He had only seven points on the night.
-Colorado forced 30 Yale turnovers a season high for the Bulldogs and the most Colorado has forced on the season.
-Colorado got off to a slow start offensively scoring only four points in the opening 7 minutes of play. Both baskets came on breakaway dunks by Alec Burks.
-Colorado got their first lead of the night 19-18 with 3:15 left to play in the first half, on a pair of free-throws by Cory Higgins
-Colorado lead at the half 26-25. The 26 points tied their lowest first half scoring total of the season (26, at CSU).
-Colorado shot 66.7% from the line in the first half (10-15) their poorest first half percent on the season. The previous mark was 76.9% against Colorado Christian.
-Colorado was out-rebounded 23 to 11 at the half.
-Colorado had their fourth poorest first half shooting performance (8-11, 38.1%).
-Led the team in scoring tonight with 23 points. He now has led the team in 8 out of the first 12 games this season (one shared).
-Now has 1,038 points for his career. Tonight he jumped passed Chauncey Billups (1995-97, 1,020), Wilky Gilmore (1961-63, 1,026), and Jim Creighton (1970-72, 1,032) on the all-time scores list moving his way into 23rd overall. Next on the list is Larry Vaculik (1975-78, 1,084).
-Tonight's game marks Higgins' 75th consecutive start. He has started every game he has played at Colorado.

-Set a new career high in free throws made with 11. He tied his high in free throws attempted with 13. His previous high of 10 free throws came against Texas Southern. He has attempted 13 free-throws twice three times this season.
-Set a new season high in points with 15 in 29 minutes of play. He fouled at with 5:16 left to play in the game. His previous high was 14 points against Coppin State.
-Tied a season high with his team leading six rebounds. He has led the team in rebounds twice this season. He recorded six against Coppin State as well.
-Started his third game of the season tonight; his others came against Colorado Christian and Cal State Northridge.
