GENERAL

  • The Buffs snap a three-game losing streak while improving its record to 11-9 overall and 2-4 in Conference play.
  • The Cornhuskers fall to 0-5 in the Big 12 and 12-8 overall.
  • Nebraska leads the all-time series 76-69, but the Buffs broke a three-game losing streak against the Huskers and have won four of the last five played in Boulder.
  • Colorado is 10-1 at the Events Center matching the 2005-06 season after 11 games.
  • When Colorado led 59-39 with 8:42 remaining it was CUs first 20-point lead in conference play since February 25, 2006 when CU led Missouri 67-44 with 7:20 to play en route to a 78-60 win.
  • The Buffs sported gold uniforms for the first time during the 2009-10 season.
  • CU started the same lineup for the third straight game, sixth time overall.
  • Today marks the 15th time this season the Buffs have recorded 70+ points.
  • Colorado shot 50 percent (10-20) from the field in the second half. This is the 11th game this season the Buffs have shot 50 percent or better (7-4 in those games).

REBOUNDING

  • This marks the 11th straight game the Buffs have been outrebounded by their opponent. Colorado recorded 26 rebounds while Nebraska pulled down 30.

AT THE HALF

  • Nebraska ties their season-low first half point total with 21. On Jan. 9 the Huskers entered halftime down 21-26 and lost to Texas A&M 53-64.
  • Today marks the first time Colorado has been up by 10 at the half during Big 12 play since the 2007-08 season when they beat Baylor 91-84 in 2OT. (44-31 a the half)

ALEC BURKS

  • Burks' continues his streak of being the only true freshmen in the nation to score in double figures during every game this season (20).
  • Burks' 21 points marks the fifth time this season he has scored 20+ and the ninth time he has led CU in scoring (third straight game).
  • Burks' two three-pointers is a season high in Big 12 play.
  • Currently in seventh place, he needs13 points to move into sixth position on the CU freshmen best list.
  • His four assists against the Huskers match his season high (Dec. 7 vs. Colorado Christian). He tallies 28 assists overall moving him into seventh on the freshmen best list.

LEVI KNUTSON

  • Knutson records a season high two treys and two assists while tying a season high three rebounds.

CORY HIGGINS

  • Higgins' 6 rebounds ties his season high for the fourth time.
  • He has netted double figures for the 63rd time as a Buffalo and 19th time this season.
