CU is 8-0 at home for the first time since the 1982-83 season (9-0).

The nine wins on the season match last year's win total.

Dwight Thorne II played his 100th career game; made two three-pointers off the bench in the first half (seventh time this season with a pair of three pointers). Thorne finished with a season-high three treys.

Alec Burks recorded his first career double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds). Burks second game in a row he has led the team in scoring and rebounding; sixth game overall in both categories he has the team this season.

First game this season Burks has led CU in scoring, rebounding and assists.

Burks scored 17 points moving him up to 13th place with 228 points on the school's all-time freshman scoring list.

Burks last five games: 17.8 ppg., 6.0 rpg., .536 FG% (30-56); .833 FT% -- all team highs.

Cory Higgins scored all his 11 points in the second half. He has scored 1,062 career points and ranks 23rd overall. Next on the list is Larry Vaculik (1975-78, 1,084).

CU is 6-0 when four of the five starters net double-digits.

CU is 7-1 when shooting over 50 percent from the field.

CU has shot 50 percent or better in both halves in 16 of 28 halves this season. 

CU is 4-0 when shooting 50 percent or better from the field and three-point arc.

Entering the week's play and according to the NCAA statistics, Alec Burks is the seventh ranked freshman in points per game (16.2).
