On how Colorado played
"First of all let's give a lot of credit to Texas; they're certainly one of the nation's elite teams if not the elite team in the nation. You can certainly argue that point."
"We knew coming in we'd have to take care of the ball and that we would have to do a very good job on the defensive boards. To give one of the nation's elite teams 39 points off turnovers and second-chance points is just way too many. Our players competed; we just fell short in those two areas."
On why they lost despite a strong shooting performance
"We never were able to finish possessions by grabbing a defensive rebound and gave them some easy points off some bad turnovers. But offensively, if we didn't turn it over we were able to find ways to score. Give Texas a lot of credit. They're extremely talented and well coached. They've got their act together.

"We knew all about his talent, obviously. We tried different ways to defend him and we never got to him quite in time. He got into a real good comfort zone and rolled from there."
