SEASON OPENERS: CU is 14-1 in season openers in the Big 12 era (since 1996) with an 11-1 mark at home.
COACH BOYLE: Tad Boyle, CU's 18th head coach in its history, opened his Buffalo career with his first win. He's 57-66 in his fifth year as a collegiate head coach.
WINNING STREAK: Dating back to last year, CU has won four-straight home games and four-straight regular season games.
IDAHO STATE: The Bengals have lost 13-straight road games. CU is 33-24 all-time against the Big Sky Conference and leads the Bengals, 3-0.
RUNS: Idaho State grabbed a 49-48 lead with 16:58 left in the second half. In the ensuing 9:54, CU went on a 24-8 run, expanding their lead to 72-57 at the 7:04 mark. Seven ties and eight lead changes throughout the game.
Has now played and started 95-straight games (6th at CU); he scored 16 points
(1,407 career points) remaining ninth on the all-time scoring list.
Nate Tomlinson
· Scored the first basket of the season on a 3-pointer assisted by Marcus Relphorde.
Alec Burks
· ninth career 20-point game.
· Burks and Higgins averaged 36.0 points per game combined in the 2009-10 season. They opened the 2010-11 season with a combined 36 points.
· Was 10-for-10 from the free throw line. This is the first time Burks has been perfect from the line with a minimum of 10 attempts.
Andre Roberson
· grabbed 11 rebounds in his debut, ranking second at CU in newcomer debuts. Jermyl Jackson-Wilson had 17 rebounds (Denver, 2006-07).
· Scored his first collegiate points, unassisted off of a steal in the first half.
· 21 minutes played, off the bench, fifth most minutes on the team.
Levi Knutson
· 16 points were the second most scored in his college career (high is 19 vs. Oklahoma State Feb. 25, 2009).
· 13th career double digit scoring performance.
Broderick Gilcrest (Idaho State)
· Had a career-high 39 points. His previous high was 25 points (twice) versus Sacramento State and Weber State in the 2009-10 season.
