TEAM
- Colorado's 89-61 victory was their first against the Citadel. It was also the two schools first ever meeting.
- CU is 4-0 all-time versus Southern Conference opponents. CU's last Southern Conference game came in a 72-57 victory over College of Charleston on Nov. 15, 2004.
- The Buffs 41 first half points marks the third time this season that they have scored at least 40 points in the first stanza. The last time CU scored at least 40 in the first half was on Nov. 23 versus Alcorn State when they scored 49.
- CU shot 61.5 percent (16-for-26) from the field in the first half. It was the best they've shot in the first 20 minutes all season.
- Senior guard Marcus Relphorde and junior forward Austin Dufault are the only two Buffs to have started all nine games this season.
- It is the third time this season that Colorado has scored at least 40 points in both the first and second half.
- CU has won all six games this season when four players score 10 or more points.
- The Buffs forced 13 turnovers while only giving up nine against the Citadel. CU has forced more turnovers then they've committed in all nine games this year.
- Colorado has committed single-digit turnovers in five of nine games this season.
- CU is 7-1 when scoring 80 or more points this season.
- The Buffs have scored at least 80 points in seven games this season and have scored at least 80 in their last four contests.
- The victory improves Colorado's non-conference home winning streak to 18 games, dating back the 2008-09 season.
- Colorado remains undefeated at home this season at 6-0.
- The Buffs improve their home winning streak to nine games, dating back to Feb. 17 of last season versus Oklahoma.
- CU is now 5-1 when leading after the half this season.
- It was the sixth time this season that sophomore Alec Burks (19 points) and senior Cory Higgins (18 points) finished one-two in scoring for the Buffs. The last time Higgins and Burks finished one-two was on Nov. 28 at Harvard.
- CU shot a season high 59.6 percent from the field against the Citadel.
- Higgins ties Richard Roby for fifth place in career starts (102).
- Higgins moved past Donnie Boyce for fourth place in career minutes at 3540 minutes.
- He has scored 15 or more points in now eight of the nine games this season.
Nate Tomlinson
- Tomlinson's eight assists is the most he's had all season and ties a career high. He had eight helpers twice last season (11/23/09 vs. Gonzaga, 11/24/09 vs. Chaminade).
- Tomlinson had assists on Colorado's first four made field goals and five of the first six made field goals.
Alec Burks
- Burks has now scored double-digit points in all nine games this season.
- Burks scored a team high 19 points, which marks the 17th time in his career that he has led the Buffs in scoring.
- He has led the team in scoring in now six of the nine games this season.
- Dufault's eight points puts him at the 500 career mark.
Andre Roberson
- Roberson had his first career double-double, scoring 11 points off the bench and picking up 10 rebounds.
- Roberson's nine defensive rebounds sets a new season high for him.
- His 11 points set a new season and career high. His previous high was nine against Oregon State on Dec. 4.
