- Sunday's game versus Longwood was the first-ever meeting between the Buffs and Lancers. CU leads the series 1-0.
- Colorado improves to 9-0 all-time vs. NCAA division-I Independents.
- CU remains undefeated at home this season (7-0).
The Buffs have won their 19th straight home game against non-conference opponents, and their 5th straight overall. The 5 game winning streak is the longest since 2005-06 (9 games).
- The Buffs have won 19 non-conference games in a row at home dating back to the 2008-09 season.
- Colorado has won all seven games when at least four players score 10 or more points this season.
- CU is 7-1 this season when scoring 80 or more points in the game.
- The Buffs had a season low 13 fouls against Longwood including only three in the first half. Their previous low was 14 against Texas Pan-American (Nov. 30).
- Senior Marcus Relphorde and junior Austin Dufault have started all ten games this season for Colorado.
- For the second straight game and fourth time this season the Buffs have scored at least 40 points in the first half.
- The Buffs shot a season high 75 percent in the first half from 3-point range, the highest they've shot in one period all season. They also shot a season high six made 3-pointers in the first half. They finished shooting 52.8% (38-72) from the field including a 58.8% (10-17) from beyond the arc.
- CU is 6-1 this season after leading at halftime
-Six players scoring in double digits Cory Higgins (18), Levi Knutson (17), Alec Burks (15), Andre Roberson (14), Marcus Relphorde (14), and Austin Dufault (12), the last time this happened was against Central Florida on Jan. 3, 2007.
-104 points marks the first game since March 6, 2010 against Texas Tech (101) that the Buffs have scored more than 100 points.
-38 field goals made is a season high. 72 attempts is also a season high
-Led all scorers with 18 points (15 of which came in the second half ) marking the 39th time he has led the team in scoring during his career and the 2nd time this season.
-Converted his 500th career field goal this afternoon (499+ )
-Started his 103rd career game tying for third all-time at CU (tying Randy Downs, 1987-90 and Jay Humphries, 1980-84)
-Moved into 13th place on the all-time assists list moving past Richard Roby (257). Higgins now has 254+
- Higgins has now scored in double digits in nine of ten games this season and in 82 contests in his career
- He scored 11 straight points for the Buffs in a matter of 3:34 in the second half. From 15:30 to 11:56.
Marcus Relphorde:
-14 points in 25 minutes on 5-6 shooting, also went 3-5 from the charity stripe. It was his seventh game this season with over ten points. He has scored in double-digits in six of his last seven games.
- Has started in 40 consecutive games for Colorado dating back to the 2008-09 season.
Alec Burks:
-15 points in 27 minutes on 6-13 shooting also added 7 rebounds and 5 assists
- Burks has now scored in double-digits in every game this season after his 15 points versus Longwood. - Had his second five assist game this season. Last time was on versus Texas Pan-American (Nov. 30).
Andre Roberson:
-Scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for his second career double-double. He also had a double-double against The Citadel making back to back double-doubles.
-7th time he has led the team in rebounds in his career. Also led the team in back to back games
-Roberson is the first CU freshman to record back-to-back double-doubles since Richard Fox (1999-2000) and the first CU player overall to accomplish the feat since Richard Roby (2007-08)
-Roberson led CU in rebounding both games and recorded the first double-doubles for the Buffaloes this season.
-His 13 rebounds is a season-best and has grabbed 10 or more boards three times this season.
-His nine defensive rebounds against Longwood ties his season-high.
-5-for-9 shooting from the field against the Lancers is a season-best for made field goals, attempts, and shooting percentage
-His two made treys against Longwood, season-high
- Had his fourth double-digit scoring game this season with his 12 points versus Longwood.
