Colorado picked up its second loss of the season to Illinois, which brings the overall record to 6-2. The Fighting Illini evened the overall series record with CU to 2-2, as the Buffs fell to Illinois for the first time in Boulder. The Buffs are now 5-16 against Big Ten teams.

Tonight's loss snaps a five-game losing streak, as well as a six-game home court unbeaten streak.

The Buffaloes made 4-of-18 three pointers tonight for a season low .222 shooting percentage from downtown.

Meagan Malcolm-Peck had seven points shooting 2-of-4 from behind the three-point arc which ties her season high for 3-pointers made.

Brittany Spears logged her 101st consecutive career start tonight which breaks her tie with Lisa Van Goor (1980-85) for the most consecutive starts to begin a career in team history. In terms of overall consecutive starts, she trails only Amy Mathern (1989-93) who had 112 straight.
