Colorado falls to 7-14 all-time in the Big 12 Championship and has lost its last three tournament games.
Texas Tech narrows CU's all-time series lead to 17-13 and is 3-0 against the Buffaloes in the Big 12 Championship.
CU drops to 2-10 when trailing at the half.
Alec Burks increased his CU freshman season record point total to 512. He had 10 rebounds, moving from ninth to seventh in all-time freshman rebounding leaders (150).
Burks had his second double-double of the season, with 24 points and 10 rebounds. It is also the eighth time this season he has scored 20 or more points.
Burks was named to The Sporting News Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
Cory Higgins finished the season with 587 points, the most for the Buffaloes in a season since Shaun Vandiver scored 699 in 1990-91
Marcus Relphorde scored all 10 of his points in the first half. He scored in double-digits for the seventh straight game and nine out of his last 10. He had 10 points in the first half alone and is averaging 10.4 points in the first half over the last five games.
