Colorado dropped its sixth straight game away from home this season (0-6) and has lost its last six true road games dating back to last season.

Texas improves its series lead over Colorado to 16-4

Texas shot 57 percent in the second half, the best 20-minute mark by a CU opponent this season. UT's eight 3-pointers tied a CU opponent high (Iowa State)

Colorado has dropped 23 straight on the road against Big 12 Southern Division team as it makes its final road appearance against the Big 12 South as a member of the Big 12 Conference.

Colorado beat Texas on the boards 32-27, marking the 16th time in 20 games the Buffaloes have equaled or outrebounded an opponent this season. CU has either equaled or outrebounded its last five Big 12 opponents. CU was on the plus side only four times during league play in 2010

Colorado trailed Texas by just one point at halftime, 25-24. In CU's previous four trips to Austin, the Buffaloes trailed by an average of 17 points per game (36.8 ppg - 19.8 ppg).

Senior Brittany Spears started her school-record 113th consecutive game, passing Amy Mathern who started the final 112 games of her career from 1989-93.

Spears became the fifth player in team history to record 200 career 3-pointers. She was 2-of-9 from downtown and now has 201 for her career.

Junior Julie Seabrook had 10 points, nine in the first half alone. The 10 points are the most she had scored since putting up 15 against Illinois on Dec. 4, 2010. She made her third career 3-pointer and first in seven attempts since making her first two career attempts earlier this year. Seabrook scored nine of CU's first 11 points.

Sophomore Meagan Malcolm-Peck had two blocks, giving her 48 in her young career and tying her for 16th place with three others on CU's career list.

Freshman Rachel Hargis had two blocks in the first half, tying a career-best for a game.
