TEAM
- Freshman walk-on Beau Webb and freshman Askia Booker made their first collegiate starts.
- Shane Harris-Tunks made his fourth career start as a Buff, first this year; Carlon Brown and Spencer Dinwiddie made their second start in as many games with CU.
- Series vs. Wichita State: First-ever meeting with the Shockers on a neutral floor. WSU leads 6-3 and has won three-straight in the series.
- CU will play Maryland in consolation back draw; first-ever meeting with the Terrapins (4-4 vs. ACC).
- Last time CU played an ACC opponent was Jan. 9, 1991, at Wake Forest (W, 89-72)
- This is CU's second trip to San Juan and last made the trip in November 1998. The Buffs lost to Kentucky (64-52) and Xavier (74-61), and defeated American-Puerto Rico (101-56). CU last won a mid-season tourney in 2003 when they won the Pepsi Classic in Charlotte defeating Louisiana-Lafayette (75-56), Charlotte (76-74) and Loyola-Chicago (76-72).
- Scored a team-high 15 points against Wichita State his highest point total as a Buff, surpassing last Friday's total of 13 points.
- Scored eight points to move over the 700-point plateau in four year as a Buff (702 pts.).
Andre Roberson
- Grabbed 10 rebounds in his second straight game with double-digit rebounds. His first game he had 15.
His two-game total of 25 rebounds, is a two-game best over his brief career.
- Roberson has 422 career rebounds, 36th at CU.
- Scored a career-best eight points, tying a career-high two steals.
