Colorado, Maryland Quotes

Colorado Head Coach Tad Boyle
General--"Not a very good performance by the Buffaloes. I didn't like the way we played, especially in the second half. I felt like we gave the game to Maryland tonight. I'm disappointed. I said some time ago, that the one thing this team doesn't have is a defensive stopper and that was evident tonight. I said the other night that the team that is mentally tougher would win tonight. That team was Maryland. They wanted it more than we did, especially in the second half."
Maryland Head Coach Mark Turgeon
General--"Obviously it's a great win for us. We played not so great last night. For the first time this season, we went out and got our offense going. We got Terrell going -it was good. I'm proud of the team. It was a good win for us. The best thing about tonight is that they know our press offense works. Terrell got 32 points, but he's doing a lot of other little stuff that's helping us, guarding, stealing and getting rebounds. I think we beat a good team, that's much more further along than we are."
On playing Iona--"It's going to be tough for us the way they run. They're relentless. It's going to test two things; our transition defense and how well we guard the ball."
